We have been very careful to retain and purchase
bucks that will continue to improve our herd and those herds in which they reside.
February 2012 our new buck from Fairlea Farm will be joining the buck herd. His sire is Dragonfly RY Stonewall Jackson, dam is Fairlea Florence 4*D. He will bring in more Goodwood, Stonewall, Caesar's Villa Stetson, and Flat Rocks. Florence is the second highest producing milker at Fairlea so we look forward to great capacity as well as beautiful udders.

Frankie is an exciting new addition to our buck herd. He is a combination of Goodwood (including our favorite, Weisbaden), Caesars Villa, Sugar Creek, and Twin Creek lines. His dam, Ladies Maid, on milk test did 4.3 lbs with 7.68 butterfat, easily earning her milking star in both registries. Frankie is expected to improve dairy character and capacity.
